1st Meeting of the IQC Board at PMAS-AAUR

The Directorate of Quality Enhancement (DQE), Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR), organized the 1st meeting of the Institutional Quality Circle (IQC) Board under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qamar-uz-Zaman. The meeting was attended by all Deans, Directors, Chairpersons, administrative heads and representatives from Academic and Advanced Studies.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qamar-uz-Zaman emphasized the importance of continuous quality improvement, transparent governance, performance monitoring through key performance indicators (KPIs), stakeholder feedback and the promotion of research, innovation, and institutional collaboration.

The forum reviewed strategies to further strengthen quality assurance mechanisms, enhance academic and administrative performance, improve teaching and learning outcomes, and ensure compliance with the quality standards of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and other accreditation bodies.

Director Quality Enhancement Prof. Dr. Muhammad Javaid Asad briefed the participants on the agenda. The meeting concluded with the approval of actionable recommendations and a follow-up mechanism to ensure the effective implementation and monitoring of quality enhancement initiatives.
